Who we are
MADE. by Ron is a ceramic studio based in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, built on a quiet love for simple, purposeful objects. Working slowly by hand, each piece is shaped to feel calm, grounded, and honest—something to be used and lived with over time.
The process is intentionally unhurried. Clay is formed, refined, and sometimes undone, until the right balance of function and form arrives. Subtle variations in tone, texture, and glaze are part of the language of the studio—evidence of work made by a human hand, not a machine.
These pieces are not designed for display alone. They belong in everyday rituals: the morning coffee, the shared meal, the moments spent at home. They are objects to hold, to reach for, to keep close.

The maker
MADE. by Ron was founded by ceramicist Ron, whose practice is rooted in quiet repetition and material exploration. Drawn to clay for its honesty and resistance to perfection, Ron shapes each piece by hand—his work guided by sensitivity to form and a belief that objects should feel as good to hold as they do to look at.
